My husband started his business after graduating high school in 1986.  The name Made Suyana soon became synonymous with the finest quality in Balinese jewelry.  He was not just another Balinese silversmith.  He had first taken up the tools of the trade at the tender age of eight, developing his skills under the watchful eyes of a leading German silver company. Setting out on his own, he found there was a great demand for his jewelry, far outstripping his ability to produce.  He was an artist of the highest order, but he was a much better artisan than he was a businessman.  He needed a partner.

Our business has grown and prospered over the years.  Finally in 2016 we left our humble 2 room abode for the beautiful compound which presently houses both our families - with our children as well as our business of a new name, AYUNA SILVER, combining my nickname with that of my husband.  It is our symbol of success; the union of two talents, so much stronger than the sum of its parts.
